I Just Want Someone...
I Just Want Someone...
Someone to share the hours.
Someone to make them ours.
A person to look at me,
a person that I can see.
A lover to share my bed,
a friend that sees inside my head.
I want to sense that special glance,
the one that isn’t just by chance.
That touch, a smile, the spark in your eye
as I brush pass your side.
A look between two lovers
the knowing smile that covers,
the secrets shared in special times,
the light caress of promised rhymes.
I want to touch this special friend
a kiss, an embrace, no click will end.
No more silent whispers,
let’s take away that blinking cursor.
And when it’s time to go to bed
I want to watch as your head,
comes to rest beside my own
and then I’ll know we’re both at home.
I’ll feel your breath against my face,
cup me in your warm embrace.
Your arms will hold me close this night
and banish from me all my fright.
I found you through the words I write,
now come to me this lonely night.
I found you once my dearest friend
I’ll find your soul, when this life ends.
Someone to share my dreams.
Someone who will not leave.
